Welcome to FitRank, a fitness challenge app developed by Workshop Labs, LLC. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using FitRank on iOS, you agree to the terms described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect minimal personal information:
Email Address — required for account creation and authentication via Supabase's one-time password (magic link) system.
Profile Information — optional display name and avatar that you choose to share with other users in challenges.
Activity Data — exercise logs you submit (e.g., push-ups, pull-ups) which are used to track your progress and display on challenge leaderboards.
We also collect anonymous usage data to help us understand app performance and improve the user experience.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
• Authenticate your login using Supabase's magic link system.
• Maintain your account and store your fitness activity data securely.
• Display your progress on challenge leaderboards visible to other challenge participants.
• Send transactional emails such as login links and account notifications.
• Send occasional feature updates or product announcements (you may opt out at any time).
4. Third-Party Services
FitRank uses trusted third-party services to operate and enhance the app:
• Supabase – authentication, database, and storage.
• Apple – in-app purchases and platform distribution.
• RevenueCat – subscription management (if applicable).
These providers are used solely for the purposes of delivering app functionality, not for advertising or data resale.
5. Data Sharing in Challenges
When you join a challenge, other participants can see your display name, avatar, and exercise contributions for that specific challenge. This information is only visible within the context of challenges you have joined. Your email address is never shared with other users.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your account data and activity logs remain stored for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@fitrank.app. Upon confirmation, all related information is permanently deleted from our systems.
7. Security
We rely on Supabase's encryption, role-based access policies, and secure transmission protocols to protect user data. FitRank does not store any passwords. All authentication is handled through one-time password links sent to your verified email.
8. Your Privacy Choices
• You can update your display name or profile within the app.
• You may opt out of marketing emails while continuing to receive essential transactional ones.
• To delete your account and all associated data, email support@fitrank.app.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the app and on our website, with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
